Great to hear that you also recently discovered the power of journaling, Niklas. And don’t feel discouraged if it sometimes feels like you can’t motivate yourself to do it, I think that’s totally normal, and happens to me as well. Just don’t beat yourself up about it. I also fall out of the habit sometimes and have to slowly get back in. One thing that really helped me make it easier is to not expect too much. I don’t go into it thinking that I’ll actually be journaling for 30 minutes of something every day. The goal for me is to write at least one sentence in my journal every day. If that one sentence turns into several pages, that’s great, but it’s not expected. I think removing that pressure makes it a lot easier to actually start doing it.
