Thanks Brent! And yes, good point, I was unfortunately a bit sloppy in naming/explaining the ratio.

What I really meant is, as you pointed out, the ratio of inhale duration to the total breath cycle duration (i.e. inhale + exhale).

I noticed the confusing naming just before originally publishing and left a side note in square brackets at the end of the introduction, but I guess it still wasn’t clear enough. Per your suggestions I also added two explicit examples, hopefully that will make it slightly less confusing.
